Getting The Job Done

It’s not often I get the opportunity to shout about my client’s work. Mainly because a lot of what I do is ‘behind the scenes’… but every now and then I get the opportunity to get involved with something a little more creative.

A small, independent company specialising in gardening and cleaning services for office, retail and residential properties requested my help in producing business cards and flyers for them.

As a brand-new company, they had no existing branding, so I had to devise ideas from scratch. By speaking with the client and finding out a bit more about the business, I was able to put together a few different concepts using Canva.

Once they chose their favourite design concept, I was then able to adapt the design to business card and flyer format. I chose a bright and fresh-looking palette to reflect the nature of the work, and I kept the typography clean and simple - capturing the efficiency and competence of the company.

I also managed the proofing and printing of the business cards and flyers, ensuring that they were printed to a high standard and delivered safely.

The client was delighted with the result, and saw a significant increase in enquiries following the posting of the flyers in the local neighbourhood. So much so that they decided to take their business onto social media, and asked if I could adapt the designs for this as well.
